The client work
The role covered iOS delivery for banking and insurance applications. It was my first sustained professional experience building mobile software around sensitive information and structured customer workflows.
The foundation it created
Working on client products built the habits that later mattered at RBC Wealth Management: careful state handling, clear information hierarchy, dependable releases, and respect for trust-sensitive domains.
Selected work
Learned trust-sensitive product work
Financial and insurance interfaces made correctness and clarity part of the product itself. A confusing state or unreliable flow could undermine the user's confidence in the whole service.
Established a mobile engineering base
This role began the native mobile path that continued through Kinetic Commerce, RBC Wealth Management, Story Star, Snap, Feels, and later Apple-platform work at Santa's AI Lab.
